nostalgia - it's delicate, but potent.

“When things break, it’s not the actual breaking that prevents them from getting back together again. It’s because a little piece gets lost - the two remaining ends couldn’t fit together even if they wanted to. The whole shape has changed.”
- John Green

I've once read that you know you've reached the end when you begin thinking about the beginning. Not sure if it that is a legit adage or if it's just some popular Tumblr wisdom but.. either way, it has always stuck with me.

I recently found myself falling into a rut of "back in November, we were..." and "I remember last July when..." after running across an old DM exchange from way back in the beginning. Thank God I got into the habit of deleting text message threads weekly or Lord knows where I would be right now.

*shudders*

And while I'm trying to break out of the habit of over analyzing and needing answers, I do like the idea of sharing stories. In recent months, I've given myself the space to begin to love the idea of owning my experiences and sharing how I became the person I am today. Or maybe this is about the person I am growing to become.

So, I've decided to anonymously blog about it. Welcome to my space. I pray we will all grow into beautiful beings together.
